TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE:  We will make every effort to stay on our published schedule of departures and arrivals.  However, in no event shall we shall be liable for delays caused by authority of law, public enemies, war, mechanical breakdowns, bad conditions of road, accidents, weather, terrorism or any other force majeure condition beyond our control.  

Passengers are strongly advised to schedule flights that will allow at least two hours to check-in, check baggage and deal with security conditions.  During times of increased security posture, the time allotted may need to increase.

Passengers are strongly advised to schedule flights that will allow at least one hour (two would be better) to deplane and retrieve luggage from the baggage claim area. 

DELAYED FLIGHTS and SLOW BAGGAGE:  We provide a Guaranteed Service.   One of the promises we make to our passengers is that we will depart on time.  We cannot hold our departure time because your flight came in late or your baggage has not yet arrived.  If you miss your departure and have been in contact with us, we will give you the next available seat on a later shuttle at no additional cost.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:  We understand that your travel plans may change.  River City Shuttle has very simple policies regarding cancellations, changes and refunds:

  1. Regardless of whether you made your reservation online or by calling our office, if your plans change we will be happy to change your reservation without additional charge.
  2. If for any reason, you are delayed, we will give you priority seating (ahead of any cash, walk-up passengers) on our next available shuttle.
  3. If for any reason, you are unable to use your reservation, simply advise our office on the date of the travel or earlier and you will be given a service credit good for one (1) year.
  4. Unfortunately, River City Shuttle cannot credit “No-call No-shows.”

TERMS REGARDING PAYMENT: 

  1. A credit card is required to place an online reservation;
  2. Reservations without a credit card must be placed by telephone;
  3. Checks are not accepted as payment, cash or credit card only;
  4. Seating is limited.  A reservation paid by credit card is a guaranteed seat.  Seats for reservations to be paid in cash are assigned on a first come, first serve basis;
  5. Online reservations must be made at least 12 hours in advance.  All others must be placed by telephone during business hours.

BAGGAGE:  Each passenger is allowed two pieces of hand baggage (not to exceed 50 lbs each) and one carry-on bag.  Additional pieces of baggage and oversized or overweight baggage is subject to additional fees.  River City Shuttle is not liable for loss or damage to baggage or its contents.  While the shuttle driver will cheerfully assist with baggage, this is a courtesy only.  Each passenger is solely responsible for the loading and unloading of their baggage and for ensuring that they are in possession of all baggage and personal articles when leaving the shuttle.

LOST ITEMS:  Lost items or baggage left on our shuttle will be logged and held for a maximum period of 30 days.  If not claimed within that time, all items will be disposed of.  Items that are claimed will be returned at the owner’s expense.

ANIMALS:  All animals must be transported in airline approved carriers and will be charged as cargo according to the size and weight of the animal and the carrier.  A minimum charge of $25 each way will be assessed and the animal will be carried in the cargo area of the vehicle.  Bona-fide Working Animals such as “Seeing Eye Dogs” are exempt from this policy.

SEAT BELTS:  In all 15-passenger (and smaller) vans, there is an operational seatbelt for each seating position.  We strongly recommend that passengers use their seat belts.

CHILD SAFETY/BOOSTER SEATS:  River City Shuttle does not provide safety seats or booster seats for children.  However, their use is strongly encouraged.  When using such devices, the driver may assist with their installation as a courtesy only.  River City LLC assumes no liability connected with the proper use and/or installation of any child safety device. 

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS:  Children under 12 years of age must travel with a responsible adult.  Children 12-17 may travel after we have received a Parental Waiver and Liability Release signed by a legal guardian or custodial parent.  Unaccompanied minors traveling to the Airport will be released at the Departure Level of the appropriate terminal and as near as practical to the entry door of airline being traveled.

DISORDERLY PASSENGERS:  River City LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.  If a passenger is deemed by the driver to be unruly, intoxicated or otherwise posing any hazard to the safe operation of the vehicle, the driver may discharge such a passenger at any safe location.
